Therapy is a very intimate experience. I strive for a personal connection with my clients from the get-go. Through that relationship, I am better able to understand the motivations, hidden struggles and impulses that drive my clients, and in turn, help them to utilize their own strengths and learned techniques to successfully address the difficult issues for which they sought therapy. I have assisted clients who are going through or preparing for a life transition, experiencing depression, anxiety or mood disorders, and recovering from trauma or loss.

I have spent 25+ years helping individuals & families overcome a wide array of challenges. During the course of my professional & personal life, I have gained an expertise in reproductive health & family building including fertility treatment, assisted & third party reproduction, and adoption & foster care.

I believe that therapy is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves while navigating the complexities of life. As humans, we experience the greatest joys and the deepest sorrows, as well as everything in between. Despite our best intentions, life can often be unpredictable and disorienting. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients to process through turbulent times.
I have a special interest in working with those who have experienced chronic illness, long-term caregiving, infertility, family planning challenges, significant losses, and/or other major life transitions.
Drawing from a variety of modalities, nearly 20 years of working with children and families, as well as my own journey as a caregiver and young widow, I approach therapy with a high level of empathy, compassion, and respect. Whether you’re seeking therapy due to a specific life challenge or for general wellness, it will be an honor to join you on your journey.
